What is P4? |
Established in 2001P4 is a twelve-year old organization that acts as a support group for students interested in pursuing professional careers. We are a catalyst that ensures the advancement of Pilipinos and students into law and business.
FundedWe are funded by the ASUC as well as by our own personal fundraising. We hold fundraisers through Ovations (the group responsible for the sports games at Cal) and other football and baseball concession stands in the Bay Area.

ServicesSeveral professional workshops that assists and guides students in their preparation for interviews, resumes, internships, and applications.
Bi-annual Telebears advisory workshops as well as HAAS application workshops. community services such as legal clinics and tax aid assistance. Various presentations for employment and internship opportunities such as INROADS, GalaxoSmithKlein, as well as our own internship, the Associates Program. Various career panels that give you an opportunity to question professionals such as lawyers, MBA, law and graduate students, and other students who can share their knowledge and experiences. Our mentorship program can match you up with an MBA student, Law student, or Professionals in the respective career — or you, yourself, can be a mentor for someone applying to HAAS and/or law school. Field-trips to other law schools in the bay area, attend Admission Workshops, and visit Court Houses. Presentations from various test preparation businesses such as Kaplan and Blueprint and offer discounts for their courses. Office hours are held for any questions (i.e. concerning classes) or to critique documents. |
EventsP4 holds various events that train students, giving them the experience and education necessary to aid them in their career-oriented goals: everything from community services, workshops, panels, internships, and mentorships. These programs and events allow students to ask questions to more experienced students and actual professionals already working in the field, to receive fist-hand experience of what the profession is like, and to prepare for every step required in pursuing their careers, from resumes and cover letters, to applications, to graduate schools and interviews.
